Disneycember 2011 Response (From the Perspective of a Disney Fan)

Ah, the Disneycember series of reviews by Doug Walker, whom many would recognize as The Nostalgia Critic. It first started in 2011 and has become a tradition to take a look at anything that is Disney-related. And this is where it all began. After all these years, how does it hold up?

The answer may surprise you.

Disclaimer: This response will contain sensitive topics such as mental health issues, racism, sexism, and the like. Though this is from 2011, the warnings will definitely applied here.

Also, this is inspired by SHINOBI-03’s responses on the Nostalgia Critic reviews on the Jurassic Park film series as Shinobi (who I will be referring here) has brought up some valid points and pointing out the flaws of which were in the reviews. To Shinobi, this one is for you.

The following transcripts of the Disneycember videos (and other videos that will be referenced here) are from the ThatGuyWiththeGlasses wikia and I would like to give thanks to the people that worked tirelessly on writing them. This one's for you.

One last thing: this is going to be a mixed bag of responses. There will be some points that I agree with, some points that I don’t agree with, and points that really boils my blood. And when I get to those points, let’s just safely say that I won’t be holding myself back at all.

To wrap this up, I’m only focusing on the first Disneycember that Doug Walker has released back in 2011, so I am probably not going to take a look at the rest. Have patience.

Without further ado, it’s time we take a deep dive into this.
